Yes! We support 8 vehicle types: Cars, Motorcycles, Boats, Jet Skis, Trucks, Caravans & Campers, Trailers & Tractors, and ATVs. Each vehicle type has its own tailored report that checks the most relevant data sources for that category.

A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a unique 17-character code assigned to every motor vehicle. You can find it:

  • On cars: dashboard (driver's side, visible through windscreen), door jamb sticker, or engine block
  • On motorcycles: steering head, frame neck, or engine
  • On boats: HIN (Hull Identification Number) on the transom (rear right)
  • On documents: registration papers, insurance card, or title

Our databases are updated daily and we cross-reference multiple sources to ensure accuracy. However, it's important to note that not all incidents appear in vehicle records immediately — some events, particularly in private sales or minor accidents without insurance involvement, may not be reported to any database. We always recommend using our report as a key tool alongside a professional inspection.

Yes — flood damage and water damage records are included in our Platinum reports for all vehicle types (where records are available). Flood-damaged vehicles are often given a "salvage" or "flood" title brand by state authorities, which we check across all 50 states.

Absolutely. Odometer rollback detection is included in our Platinum package. We compare multiple recorded odometer readings across different data points (inspections, service records, insurance check-ins) to flag any anomalies that suggest tampering.

Delivery times depend on the plan you choose:

  • Silver Plan: Delivered within 6 hours of order confirmation
  • Platinum Plan: Priority delivery within 3 hours

You will receive an email notification the moment your report is ready to view. Most reports are delivered well within the stated timeframe.

Once your report is ready, we send a notification to the email address you provided at checkout. The report is accessible as a detailed PDF download and/or through an online viewer — both are included at no extra cost.

You can access your report at any time after purchase. Reports are stored and accessible for 12 months from the date of purchase. We strongly recommend downloading a copy for your records as well.

Contact our support team as soon as possible via the Contact page. If we have not yet processed your order, we can correct the VIN at no extra charge. If the report has already been generated for the wrong VIN, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis — in most situations we can provide a replacement report.
